Dr. Thaer Abou Assi, a Syrian Specialist Endodontist fluent in Arabic, English, and German, brings over 22 years of clinical expertise in endodontics, including 8 years specializing in microscopic and microsurgery techniques. Holding a PhD in Dentistry with a focus on Microscopic Endodontology, Dr. Abou Assi has held pivotal roles in academia and clinical practice. He served as Vice Dean and Head of the Endodontics and Operative Dentistry Department at the International Arab University in Damascus and has been the Head of the Training Department for the Syrian Board Association in Endodontics since 2019. His extensive teaching experience includes positions at prominent institutions such as Homs University, Al-Kalamoon University, and the National Dental Center for the Syrian Dental Association. Additionally, he was a visiting professor at Albert-Ludwig-Universität in Freiburg, Germany, from 2006 to 2010. Beyond academia, Dr. Abou Assi has been involved in private clinical practice since 2011, specializing in advanced microscopic endodontics and aesthetic dentistry.
